Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
Responsibilities
*Suppliers Quality and production contract activity.
*Carry out detailed inspection and reporting against Engineering drawings.
*Providing accurate monthly supplier reporting on progress and data of: purchase orders, capacity, product approval reports,and quality issues.
*Review and verification of material test certificates.(MTCs)
*Generation, review and verification of production process maps with the supplier.
*Investigation and resolution of customer complaints / Quality issues.
*Carry out Supplier Assessments.
*Assist and support the ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System.
*To supervise and delegate duties to the Supplier Qualtiy Engineer team member.
Requirements
*Should be proficient in English,Cantonese and Putonghua, including reading and writing.
*Must be flexible with working hours and be familiar with traveling(on their own) to different provinces in China.
*Able to read drawing and understanding drawing notes / specification / standards etc.
*Should be familiar with BSEN/GB standard grades of materials.
*Quality Control Engineer, degree holder in relevant discipline.
*Good Presentation skills.
*Able to carry out inspections and report against technical drawings.
*Should have assessor / auditor qualification and relevant auditing experience in China factories.
*Role based in HK but should be willing to travel in China.
*Travel ( including Overseas) as required to achieve the above.
